OVERALL PROCESS - This is an overview of the process so you can be aware of all that is involved from start to finish. Some things may vary from home to home.  It is not too detailed but it will give you a good idea to start.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE - Greg does not bid low to get your business and then add hidden costs later on. He likes to be up front about what it will cost you, and then let his work speak for itself. When you have a bank loan, the bank determines when the draws (payments) are released. Other payments are due at specific steps during the process. Sometimes these are determined by the individual banks.

*TIMELINE - This timeline is approximate and based on typical times. However, there are many things that can slow the  building process. Some are outside of the contractors control, but it is in everyone's best interest to stay on schedule and complete the home.

1. SITE PREPARATION

* This process typically takes 1-2 weeks depending on weather.
SITE PREPARATION: To start the process of building, Greg will...
1. Obtain well, septic, and building permits.
2. Clear wooded lots for building site.
3. Build the driveway.  
4. Dig and install the foundation.
5. Install well and septic system.
6. Modular Home - the site is ready for delivery.

2. BUILD STRUCTURE

* This process typically takes 2-4 weeks depending on the size of the structure.
BUILD STRUCTURE ON SITE:
1. Frame and roof.
3. Close in the house with windows and doors.

3. INTERIOR CONSTRUCTION

* This process typically takes 2-4 weeks depending on the size of the structure.
INTERIOR CONSTRUCTION:
1. Utilities - Rough in the electrical wiring and plumbing.
2. Insulate.
3. Drywall is hung or wall coverings are installed.

4. INTERIOR FINISH WORK

* This process typically takes 3-4 weeks depending on the size of the structure.
INSIDE FINISH WORK:
1. Paint the walls, ceilings, and trim.
2. Set the Bath and Kitchen fixtures & cabinets are installed.
3. Install light, receptacles, and switches.
4. Install floor coverings.

5. FINISH EXTERIOR

* This process typically takes 2-4 weeks depending on the size of the structure.
FINISH EXTERIOR:
1. Porches, garages, decks are installed.
2. Install siding, brick, and stone.
3. Final grading and seeding.
3. Any other landscaping.
