1. DO YOU PLAN TO SUBCONTRACT YOURSELF OR ARE YOU PLANNING TO HIRE A CONTRACTOR TO DO EVERYTHING FROM START TO FINISH? - ("Turnkey" is a construction term used to depict the contractor doing everything from start to finish.)

2. BUILDING LOT - Where will you build? The lot you choose to build on is very important part of this picture. Here are some questions we ask:  Is the lot steep or sloping or flat? Is the lot wooded? Will it need to be cleared? How far is the building site from the main road? Is the lot easily accessible? How hard will it be to get equipment and materials in to the site? Does the lot have a septic permit?

3. WHAT STYLE OF HOUSE DO YOU PLAN TO BUILD? Have you looked at floor plans? Do you have blueprints? Do you want to go with a modular? or do you want to custom build?

4. WHAT SIZE HOUSE DO YOU PLAN TO BUILD? OR HOW MANY SQUARE FEET?
